What actually matters

Latency consistency beats raw latency. HDZero's killer feature is not that 14 ms is low — it is that it never changes, which is why racers love it. DJI and Walksnail latency floats with signal conditions.

Recording changes the class of drone. An O4 Pro quad is a 4K camera that happens to fly — many cinewhoop pilots no longer carry a GoPro at all, which also slashes AUW. The 8.2 g standard O4 unit brought real HD to tiny whoops instead.

Analog is not dead. For a $30 whoop VTX, casual park flying, or spec-class racing, analog remains the cheapest ticket in, and static in the goggles still beats a frozen digital frame at the edge of range.
